So today I am going to do a blog on fear, mainly because I think it’s something that we can all relate to, something that we all have, because there is no such thing as having no fears, because if that was real, then the world would be a very different place. But there are different kinds of fear.

Festival of lights 2015

Fear can potentially help you in many ways but sometimes, it holds you back from things that you want to do, and it comes straight back to that fear. For me, fear has usually always been a problem, I mean, we all have to face it, we all have to go through it, but it has always been there, like it was something weighing me down in the back of my mind, wherever I went.

My failed attempt at flower photography

Fear can lead to all sorts of things. It can mean that you can’t talk to people, or meet new people, you can’t go by yourself outside, and those are examples of fear are what hold you back. And it is what held me back for a long time because it was always in the back of my mind, it was always there.

Fear of spiders. Probably the most common fear, (I don’t have a total repulsive reaction to spiders though I still hate them!) but other people may think that it’s irrational or ridiculous to have fear of that thing.

But the point of this blog is not to frighten you, in fact it’s the opposite. You don’t have to worry about your fears because there will be someone out there in the world who shares this exact same fear, and it’s normal, it’s human, to have fear. It makes you, YOU.

Thanks so much for reading this, hope this helps! And please let me know what you think, or what other blogs you want me to to on!

Being Me

So today I am going to do another blog which is something that I have mentioned at least once before in my blogs, and I thought that instead of writing it vaguely in other blogs, I would just go all out, and make it the focus of one particular blog.

So, as you may know, I have loved writing stories ever since I was little, and I still do, but there was a reason behind all of it which made may enjoy writing so much. Writing was my way of escaping the real world, and creating a new one. It was where all my ideas and thoughts, even dreams were transferred to my notebook. I loved this concept and as I grew older, I found myself falling in love with it even more. I like to write stories about, literally anything. It would have been something that I was inspired about, or something that I had experienced, and I would be able to turn it into a story.

I love writing in general, not just writing (if that’s what you thought) but it is my main hobby that I enjoy the most, because it gives a sense of freedom, and capability of literally writing anything, and transforming it into something beautiful.

Whenever something happened, whether it was school, or at home, or even if someone said something positive or negative about me, I would turn it into a story, somehow. Sometimes people would pick on me, or judge me for something that I would do, and I knew that I was getting upset by this, so I would just write and write in my bedroom for ages, just writing about it.

Thank you so much for reading, you have no idea how much this means to me!

My daily morning routine

Okay, so I feel like I should just come out straight, and just say that I am not a morning person. And I think that it’s safe to say that a majority of people think the same.

So, my mornings start like this.

When I wake up at 7:30, I am instantly hit by a bright light, the bedroom light, which hangs off the ceiling, which is done by my dad, every single morning. And as I sleep on the top bunk of the bunk-bed, it goes literally, straight into my eyes. As you could probably guess, this is incredibly annoying, and the thing is, I can’t really do anything about it. So then, I’ll lay in bed for a tiny bit longer, (I literally can not get up straight away), and get up at 7:40.

So with that great (not) start to my day, I immediately head over to my desk, where all my clothes are laid out on my desk chair. Once I have changed out of my pyjamas and fully dressed in my day time clothes (which is usually a cardigan or T-shirt with black leggings) I’ll start making my way to the kitchen.

And then I’ll realize I have a hole in my leggings.

So then I’ll have to spend around five to ten minutes fishing around n my wardrobe to find some other leggings which don’t have holes in them (don’t ask me why I have so many holes in my leggings I literally have no idea either) I’ll eventually find them somewhere.

Also if you’re wondering, I only ever wear leggings except if I HAVE to wear jeans, but that will only be under the extreme. 🙂

So after all that, I will eventually have breakfast, which is usually toast with strawberry jam or cereal. This is probably the shortest part of the day, because it usually just takes me five minutes max.

Shortly after that, I’ll clean my teeth, and then soon after that, I will do my makeup.

So, I know I said in my Winter favourites, I don’t wear that much makeup, but I wear the same thing every day, so all the details for my makeup routine is in my Winter Favourites if you want to go and check it out!

After this, I am pretty much done, and ready for the day ahead.

Thanks for reading my blog, and let me know what you think in the comments below, I really appreciate all your support!

Ingredients for a good story

Soooooo today I am going to do something a little different, by doing a blog on what I genuinely love to do, which is writing stories.

Whenever I had a really good idea for a story, I would of either just write the opening, without any plan, or I would of planned it in my diary. So I think if you want to write a story and if you’re serious about it, I would definitely plan it first because that gives it a better chance of it being the best it can be.

Sometimes, I would be half way through the opening, or halfway through the story and sometimes I would just stop writing if I thought that it was either to boring, or cringe, so I would just backfire on it. The next part for writing a good story, is to also believe in your idea. This is really important because even if you may not be too fond of it, there will be others who will.

Next, develop your idea. So this is basically making your idea bigger, and knowing what your beginning, middle and end is, as well as all the characters. Once you have done this, all you have to do is write your story.

The last ingredient for a good story, is persistence and determination. Of course not everything will just go perfectly well, this is the real world after all, but as long as you have persistence and determination, you can write a successful story.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for reading, I really hope you enjoyed reading, let me know what you think in the comments below!

How to make the best mug of Hot Chocolate

So, so far my blogs have been about life-style and other things similar, but today I’m going to do something a little different and go ahead with a tutorial, please let me know what you think, and how I could improve my blogs, in the comments, it truly means the world to me!

How To Make The Best Mug Of Hot Chocolate

You will need:

  • A couple of mugs (that are roughly the same size)
  • 150 ml of milk
  • Chocolate powder
  • A spoon
  • Marshmallows if wanted (I recommend mini marshmallows)

First, using the spoon, carefully put four heaped spoonfuls of chocolate powder into one of your two mugs.

Then, pour the milk carefully in to the second mug, but make it so it is roughly the amount that is going to go in the other mug. (This will come later)

Put the milk into the microwave and set the timer for about 1.5 minutes.

While the milk is in the microwave, carefully add a small amount of some more milk to the other mug with the chocolate powder in, and stir. Repeat this several times until it forms a paste type form.

After 1.5 minutes, take the milk out of the microwave, and slowly stirring with the spoon, add the milk to the chocolate paste.

Enjoy your hot chocolate!

Thanks so much once again for reading this, if you have any queries, please let me know in the comments, and tell me what you think! If you want me to do more tutorials like this, please also mention that also 🙂

Winter favourites

So, with spring just around the corner, and winter coming to an end (unless you’re in Australia or somewhere hot like that), I thought I would do a little “Winter favourites” blog. Youtubers usually do monthly favourite videos and it doesn’t happen very frequently between bloggers. So that is exactly what I am going to do today with a seasonal favourites!

Book favourites: The book Girl Online is written by Zoella, and it was a truly great read, I loved every bit of it! Also, Zoella is one of my inspirations and I think what she has achieved is amazing. (If you don’t know who Zoella is, she is a famous blogger/vlogger on Youtube with millions of subscribers). I would definitely recommend this book to people who like lifestyle, and drama styled books, and also people who like Zoella, which I am positive about!

Movie favourites: So as you probably all know (If you don’t then, well, I am guessing you either hate Christmas, or just movies in general which I highly doubt) At Christmas time, many many Christmas films are shown, and there are literally SO MANY. Which is a very very good thing because I love Christmas movies, and always have.  My favourite Christmas movie of all time, would definitely have to be Nativity, by the BBCI love this film so incredibly much and every time I watch it, I always feel happy afterwards! I would recommend this movie to families (at Christmas time of course) and people who like funny movies because this is hilarious!

Beauty favourites: So, I don’t use much makeup and if I do, it will usually be something to go on my lips, or occasionally a bit on my eyes. So for my lips, I like to use the classic Vaseline with the Rosy Lips typeSo I think that this is really good for dry lips, but also if you don’t want that much abstract colour standing out on your lips, and if you just want a bit of a tint, it’s really good for that.

I am also into a French branded lip-balm, called Nutritic La Roche Posay(My french is terrible so if you know what it means, let me know in the comments!) which is a really good lip-balm if you have dried or chapped lips, so I strongly recommend it.

Clothes favourites: So, for winter, I usually absolutely love wearing jumpers, as they are so warm and cosy for a chilly day. I usually get my jumpers from Next or River Island.

Food favourites: So, after Christmas dinner (I absolutely adore Christmas dinner), my favourite thing to have in Winter would have to be Hot Chocolate because it is just the nicest thing to have on a chilly day, all curled up by the radiator (Or fireplace) wrapped around in a blanket!

Thank you so much for reading my first seasonal favourite blog, please let me know if I have missed anything and what you think in the comments below!

Idles & Inspirations

So, this time, I have decided to blog about Idles and inspirations. So, there isn’t really much difference between the two words but they do, but with similar meanings.

Idles are a person, or more then one person, who you look up to or admire. Inspirations are those who you admire to make you want to do something. You want to do that thing because they have done something which you admire and respect.

The reason I wanted to post this was because of the fact that there are so many famous people out there who have achieved something because they were inspired to do it or they admired someone doing that thing. The reason I’m blogging is because of all the bloggers out there who have achieved so much, and as well as them, I love it.

It is so thrilling to know that someone is reading it elsewhere, or to know that someone has clicked the tiny like button at the bottom of the screen.

Though short, I really hoped you enjoyed my blog!

Thanks so much again for reading this, is means so so much to me

Being yourself

You might think this is a weird blog title, first looking at it. But it has a much deeper meaning in itself, much like this. The reason I started this blog was so I could let all my thoughts be transferred to this blog, and people could relate to it, or even be inspired from it. I wanted to be myself.

So this blog is about just that, and how you don’t have to be ashamed of something that you enjoy doing just because someone told you that it was weird. Or if someone told you that you weren’t good enough. Because as long as you love it, it doesn’t matter. Because they don’t matter when you are doing what you love. I love blogging and it’s already been two days until I first started.

Memories ~ one of my favourite photos

The reason I love blogging is because the fact that someone is physically reading it from miles away or elsewhere, just blows my mind, and it makes me happy. And that is the most important thing.

Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate it

What Makes A True Friend?

So, today, I thought I would do a “What Makes A True Friend?” blog – partly because it isn’t something that we consider in our daily lives, but also something to think about.

I think the most important thing that makes a true friend, is someone who respects you for YOU. Someone who accepts you for what you enjoy doing and who you are. They should be someone who is there for you through the good and bad stages, whatever may be, that passes through our lives. But it also comes down to yourself. If you don’t treat them the same way, conflicts, or friction could happen. (Although, I know, I know, conflicts DO happen anyway, whether we like it or not).

Another thing that makes up a true friend is someone who you know well. Someone who you know well is already there to being one of your true friends as you may know many things about each other so you have lots to talk about or have something in common.

So, I know this might be sounding cheesy and a little cringe , but it is true and it is what it is! There are many people out there who aren’t who they appear to be, for example, social media – you have so many people online who are supposedly your “friends” when you’ve never even met them, let alone knowing anything about them. Of course, that isn’t an issue, but it’s something to keep in mind.

And finally, your true friends are those who will always stand by you.

Thanks so much for reading, and please let me know what you think down below in the comments!

Ways to brighten up your dreary February Afternoon

IMAG0035As it’s coming to the end of the winter season (with spring just around the corner!!) I thought I would do “Ways To Brighten Up Your Dreary February Afternoon” (Had a long time debating whether or not to have a long title).  February is a very strange season (much like January) when the weather is very wet and rainy. (Unless you’re in Australia or somewhere warm right now!). And occasionally, cloudy days will come through which for me, tend to be very boring and they always seem to make me feel very sleepy or drowsy.

-So the first thing that helps a day like this, is hot chocolate. I absolutely love hot chocolate, and it’s perfect for a day like this because it warms you up and it gives that sort of cosy feeling around you.

-Another thing that I find, really helps, is to just to get out of the house. Usually, this will help me feel more awake, and less sleepy and just simply going for a walk, or going to the supermarket, really helps.

-So  the final thing I think is nice to do, is baking or cooking. I love baking because it’s so fun and creative. So for this kind of day, it’s perfect as it’s a fun activity you can do with friends and family.

Thanks for reading, please let me know what you think in the comment section!
